ANANTNAG, SEPT 24: Anantnag Police on Thursday conducted public outreach programmes across all Police Stations in the district, with jurisdictional officers directly engaging with residents and reviewing issues concerning their respective areas.
During the interactions, officers listened to public grievances and concerns and took note of various issues raised by residents.
The officers assured the public that genuine grievances would be addressed promptly through appropriate mechanisms.
The programme focused on strengthening direct communication between police officers and the public, enabling authorities to understand local concerns and improve coordination at the grassroots level.
Police officers also emphasised the importance of continued cooperation from the public in maintaining peace, security and public order. Residents were encouraged to share relevant information with police and remain engaged with the local policing system.
Anantnag Police reiterated its commitment to accessible, responsive and people-centric policing, stressing that regular interaction with communities is essential for strengthening public confidence and ensuring effective grievance redressal.
The initiative also provided an opportunity for police officers to assess local issues, enhance community coordination and ensure that concerns affecting residents are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
