SRINAGAR, SEPT 18: DIG Armed Kashmir Maqsood-Ul-Zaman, has granted in-situ promotions to 98 police personnel of different ranks in Armed Range Kashmir in recognition of their dedicated service, discipline and commitment to duty.
The promotion cases were examined under the chairmanship of the DIG in accordance with the prescribed rules, regulations and eligibility criteria. Following due scrutiny, 98 officials were found fit for promotion, including 67 Head Constables and 31 Selection Grade Constables (SgCts), and were accordingly promoted to their respective higher grades.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening career progression, professional recognition and motivation among personnel who have rendered sustained and dedicated service in the Armed Police.
Congratulating the promoted personnel and their families, DIG Maqsood-Ul-Zaman appreciated their hard work, professionalism, discipline and commitment to duty.
He directed the promoted personnel to view the elevation as an added responsibility, urging them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline and professionalism while discharging their duties.
The DIG further stressed that the promotions should motivate the personnel to continue contributing with greater dedication towards the functioning and effectiveness of the Armed Police.
