DODA, SEPT 26: Doda Police has struck at the financial assets allegedly linked to a narcotics case, attaching an immovable property worth approximately ₹20 lakh under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
The property, belonging to Zaher Abbas, son of Mohd. Iqbal Lohar, resident of Sadeeqaabad, Doda, was attached in connection with FIR Number 93/2026 registered at Police Station Doda. The action was carried out under Section 68F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Identified under Khasra No. 2110/1743/941, the property has been placed under attachment, with a notice displayed at the site making it clear that sale, purchase, lease, transfer or creation of any third-party interest is prohibited.
The action signals Doda Police’s continued focus on choking the financial lifelines of the narcotics trade, moving beyond the arrest of accused persons to action against assets allegedly connected with illicit drug activity.
Police said the campaign against drug trafficking and its financial networks would be intensified, while urging people to report suspicious narcotics-related activities to law enforcement.
