GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 17: The Grand T20 Cricket Tournament organised by Ganderbal Police under its Civic Action Programme continued with a series of competitive matches, providing local cricketers with an opportunity to showcase their talent while promoting sportsmanship, discipline and positive engagement among youth.
Several exciting encounters were played during the tournament, with teams displaying strong batting and bowling performances.In one of the matches, Gund-A defeated Magray Cricket Club by four wickets.
Huzaif delivered an all-round performance, scoring 31 runs and claiming two wickets, earning him the Player of the Match award.
Chattergul Aryans registered a convincing 49-run victory over Shalabugh Sultans, with Parvaiz producing an impressive bowling spell of 4 wickets for 20 runs to guide his team to victory and claim the Player of the Match honour.
SDF Kangan also secured victory against Royal Tigers GBL, with Saqib contributing 13 runs and taking two wickets. His all-round performance earned him the Player of the Match award.In another closely fought contest, UFCCR Gund emerged victorious by five runs.
Akhoon Kaisar played a key role in the win, taking three wickets and contributing six runs, and was adjudged Player of the Match.
Hatbura Warriors defeated Maqsood CC Kurhama, with Bhat Shabir producing a decisive bowling performance by claiming three wickets and earning the Player of the Match award.
The tournament also witnessed a standout batting performance as SKY Rangers defeated FCC Dab, with Aaqib Mir smashing a brilliant century. His match-winning innings earned him the Player of the Match recognition.
