NEW DELHI, SEPT 17: Jammu and Kashmir seamer and all-rounder Auqib Nabi has earned his maiden call-up to India’s ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series against the West Indies, following consistent performances in the English County Championship for Surrey.
Nabi has been named in India’s 15-member ODI squad for the series, which is scheduled to begin on September 27.
His selection marks a significant milestone in his career and comes after a solid run in county cricket.India are scheduled to play three ODIs and five T20Is against the West Indies, with the limited-overs series set to begin in Thiruvananthapuram.
India’s ODI squad: Shubman Gill (C), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (VC), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Auqib Nabi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Naman Dhir.
