KARGIL, SEPT 16: Kargil Police has expanded its public outreach campaign to familiarise tourists, hoteliers, guest house owners and local residents with the Ladakh Police Jullay App 2.0, aimed at promoting greater awareness and use of the digital platform.
As part of the campaign, police teams visited hotels and guest houses in and around Kargil town and sensitised owners and staff about the features, services and usage of the app. They were also encouraged to promote the platform among tourists and residents to ensure wider adoption.
To further strengthen the outreach, pamphlets and posters highlighting the Jullay App 2.0 were distributed at various prominent locations across Kargil town.
Earlier, Traffic Check Posts and entry points across the district were also mobilised to disseminate information about the app and encourage more people to make use of the digital services available through the platform.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that tourists and residents visiting and residing in Kargil are adequately informed about the Jullay App 2.0 and can effectively utilise its services whenever required.
