KUPWARA, OCT 6: Kupwara Police have recovered six stolen mobile phones through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, turning a technology-driven tracking mechanism into a successful recovery operation and ensuring the devices were returned to their legitimate owners after due verification.

The recovery was carried out by a police team using the CEIR system, which enables authorities to trace and monitor mobile devices reported lost or stolen through their unique equipment identification details.
