New Pulsar 150 launched in Srinagar with major upgrades

The all-new Pulsar 150 was formally launched at Paris Bajaj in Srinagar at a special event attended by Kamran, ASM, Bajaj Auto, marking its entry into the Jammu and Kashmir market.

The updated motorcycle comes with several mechanical and technological upgrades, including a new chassis, monoshock rear suspension and an updated 150cc engine. The engine develops 14 PS at 8,500 rpm and 14.1 Nm of peak torque, with revised transmission calibration aimed at improving the riding experience.

The new Pulsar 150 also introduces three riding modes—Rain, Road and Sport—bringing features previously associated with higher segments to the 150cc motorcycle category.

Higher-spec variants come equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and a 5-inch TFT display with Google Maps integration. The Single Disc variant gets a colour LCD instrument console.

With prices starting at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Pulsar 150 retains the model’s familiar styling while receiving upgrades in performance, technology and riding dynamics.

The launch event was organised with the support of Paris Automobiles Managing Director Hashim and General Manager Syed Mushtaq.
