PULWAMA, SEPT 21: Pulwama Police, in coordination with 182 and 183 Battalions of the CRPF, conducted a joint mock drill at District Police Lines Pulwama to test operational preparedness and strengthen coordination between the participating forces.
Conducted under the supervision of DySP DAR Pulwama, the exercise focused on assessing response mechanisms, coordination and the readiness of personnel to deal with any unforeseen or emergent situation.
Personnel from the participating forces carried out the drill as per the planned response mechanism, testing their ability to mobilise and coordinate effectively during a security contingency.
The exercise concluded smoothly and provided an opportunity to identify areas for further strengthening of inter-agency coordination and rapid response capabilities.
Police said such preparedness exercises are aimed at maintaining operational readiness and ensuring an effective response to any emerging situation.
