SRINAGAR, SEPT 25: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a mix of dry and partly unsettled weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with brief spells of rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds expected at intervals.
According to the forecast, September 25-26 will remain generally dry, although isolated areas may receive brief rain or thundershowers.
On September 27-28, generally cloudy weather is expected, with light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds likely at a few places.
September 29-30 is likely to remain generally dry, with brief rain possible at a few locations, while October 1-2 is expected to remain dry.
Another spell of generally cloudy weather is likely during October 3-5, when light rain, light snowfall over higher reaches, thunder and gusty winds may occur at a few places. The weather is likely to turn generally dry again on October 6-7.
The weather office said conditions are currently favourable for apple and paddy harvesting and other farm operations, while advising farmers to ensure proper and safe storage of harvested crops on September 27-28 due to the possibility of wet weather.
