REASI, OCT 5: In a coordinated security exercise aimed at strengthening ground-level surveillance and maintaining a secure environment for residents and pilgrims, Reasi Police, in coordination with the CRPF, conducted a joint foot patrol in Ransoo Market under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ransoo.
The joint patrol was undertaken as part of routine security and area-domination measures, with security personnel maintaining a visible presence across the market and adjoining areas. The exercise focused on strengthening surveillance, reviewing existing security arrangements and identifying vulnerable points requiring heightened attention.
During the patrol, security personnel carried out checks at strategically important and sensitive locations in and around Ransoo. The exercise was also aimed at ensuring the safety of the general public, local residents, shopkeepers and pilgrims visiting the area.
The coordinated deployment of Reasi Police and CRPF personnel underscored the importance of inter-agency coordination and proactive security measures in maintaining law and order and preventing any potential security threat.
Officials said such joint patrols and security checks would continue as part of efforts to maintain vigilance, enhance public confidence and ensure a safe environment for pilgrims and the local population across the area.
