JABALPUR, SEPT 23: A 28-day Tailor-Made Logistics Course specially curated for officers of the Sri Lankan Army at the Military College of Materials Management (MCMM), Jabalpur, concluded on Wednesday.
The programme was designed to provide participants with exposure to contemporary logistics and supply-chain management practices, with emphasis on professional knowledge and evolving requirements in military logistics.
The course provided an opportunity for officers of the Sri Lankan Army to engage with the Indian Army’s expertise and institutional practices in materials and logistics management.
The training also facilitated professional interaction and exchange of experiences between personnel of the two armed forces.
The Indian Army said the programme further strengthened professional bonds and mutual understanding between the Indian and Sri Lankan Armies, contributing to enduring defence ties between the two countries.
The course was conducted under the aegis of Army Training Command (ARTRAC) through MCMM, reflecting the Indian Army’s continuing engagement with partner nations through specialised training and capacity-building programmes.
The conclusion of the course marks another step towards strengthening military-to-military cooperation and professional exchanges between India and Sri Lanka.
