JAMMU, SEPT 9: Domana Police has achieved a significant breakthrough in an attempt to murder case, apprehending all three Children in Conflict with Law (CCLs) allegedly involved in the incident and recovering the weapon of offence.

The incident took place on September 5, 2026, near the main gate of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) School, Domana, where Vishwas Manhas, son of Sunil Manhas, resident of Purkhoo Camp, Jammu, sustained injuries in an assault.

Taking prompt cognizance of the incident, Police Station Domana registered FIR Number 194/2026 under Sections 109, 115(2) and 49 of the BNS, along with Sections 4/25 of the Arms Act, and initiated an investigation.

During the course of investigation, the police team utilised technical surveillance and CCTV footage to identify and apprehend all three CCLs allegedly involved in the incident.

The weapon of offence, a toka, was also recovered on the basis of information provided during the investigation.

Further investigation is underway to establish all facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

District Police Jammu reiterated its commitment to maintaining peace and public safety and urged all citizens, particularly young people, to refrain from unlawful activities and respect the law.
