AWANTIPORA, SEPT 22: In a bid to connect youth with India’s history and legacy of national leadership, J&K Police organised a quiz competition on the life and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2026-27 in Awantipora.
The programme was inaugurated by SSP Awantipora, who interacted with the participants and encouraged them to take part in such educational and community-oriented initiatives. The quiz provided participants an opportunity to test and expand their knowledge about Sardar Patel’s life, contributions and enduring legacy.
The best performers were felicitated with mementoes, certificates and cash awards, while all participants received certificates in recognition of their active participation.
The initiative formed part of J&K Police’s broader efforts under CAP 2026-27 to promote constructive engagement with young people through educational, cultural and community-oriented activities.
