LEH, SEPT 17: A four-member academic team from the CBSE Academic Unit, New Delhi, on Thursday reviewed the ongoing remedial coaching classes for students of Classes 10 and 12 at the DIET Leh Centre and Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School Leh, being conducted under a month-long expert teaching programme.
The visiting team comprises Anjali Chhabara, Al Hilal Ahmed, Dr. Meena Sehrawat and Prachi Dixit, Additional Directors and Associate Professors, who are visiting Ladakh from September 12 to 22 as part of an initiative aimed at strengthening learning outcomes and improving students’ preparedness for the forthcoming CBSE examinations.
The experts are providing specialised academic support and guidance in key subjects, including Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Economics, while also interacting with teachers and students to understand their academic requirements and address learning gaps.
The remedial coaching programme has been organised under the directions and guidance of Bhanu Prabha, Administrative Secretary, School Education, UT Ladakh, as part of efforts to provide enhanced academic support to students across the Union Territory.
The CBSE team was accorded a warm welcome with traditional khataks by SD Namgail, Principal, DIET Leh.
During the visit, the experts attended the coaching sessions, interacted with students and reviewed the progress of the programme.
The classes were found to be progressing smoothly, with students participating actively in the learning activities.
Students also shared positive feedback on the sessions and appreciated the additional academic guidance being provided by the visiting experts.
The interaction enabled the CBSE team to assess students’ learning needs and offer subject-specific guidance to help them prepare more effectively for their board examinations.
The month-long expert teaching programme is being implemented across Ladakh and is aimed at strengthening academic support systems, addressing learning gaps and enhancing the examination preparedness of students appearing in the forthcoming CBSE examinations.
