SRINAGAR, SEPT 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar today remembered its brave personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on this day in different years.
In 1999, Constable Asgar Ali of Reasi laid down his life in the line of duty. In 2000, Head Constable Javid Iqbal Sheikh of Srinagar made the supreme sacrifice.
In 2003, SPO Muneer Hussain of Reasi attained martyrdom while performing his duty.
In 2006, SgCt Ghulam Mohammad Malik of Anantnag, ASI Abdul Gani Dar of Kulgam and Constable Ghulam Mohammad of Sopore made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The J&K Police Pariwar remembered the fallen bravehearts and paid heartfelt homage to their courage, dedication and supreme sacrifice. Their service and sacrifice continue to remain an enduring part of the legacy of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
