LEH, SEPT 26: The ongoing Ladakh Festival 2026 added an astronomical dimension to its celebrations with an astronomy experience and stargazing session organised at the iconic Shanti Stupa, Leh, offering tourists, astronomy enthusiasts and visitors an opportunity to explore the night sky under expert guidance.
The session featured guided stargazing and interactive discussions by expert astronomers, who provided participants insights into celestial objects, constellations and other astronomical phenomena visible from Ladakh’s high-altitude landscape.
Tourists and astronomy enthusiasts actively participated in the session and observed the spectacular night sky, while learning about the scientific and astronomical significance of various celestial objects.
