JAMMU, SEPT 22: J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired a follow-up meeting of the party’s All Cells functionaries at the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, focusing on strengthening organisational teams, expanding social outreach and implementing directions emerging from the recently held national-level All Cells workshop in New Delhi.
Addressing the meeting, Sharma stressed that every programme and organisational initiative outlined by the central leadership should be implemented across Jammu and Kashmir with proper coordination, discipline and regular follow-up. He said the party cells should move beyond occasional activities and actively engage professionals, social groups, intellectuals, youth, women and other sections connected with their respective fields.
“Every cell has a specific responsibility and a defined social domain. Our functionaries must go deep into their respective fields, understand the concerns and aspirations of the people, connect with them and bring them closer to the organization,” Sharma said.
He also directed cell functionaries to actively participate in the ongoing month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, with emphasis on wider public participation and meaningful grassroots outreach.
J&K BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria called for identifying new avenues to expand the functioning of the cells and make their activities more regular, focused and result-oriented.
General Secretary and Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan Incharge Gopal Mahajan briefed the gathering about the ongoing programmes under the campaign and called upon all cells to contribute actively towards their successful implementation and wider reach.
All Cells Incharge Ved Sharma briefed the meeting on the deliberations and organisational directions emerging from the national workshop. He directed all cell convenors and co-convenors to complete their respective district- and Mandal-level teams within one month. He also stressed greater use of social media, asking cells to establish dedicated pages and digital platforms to regularly showcase activities and strengthen communication with the public.
