ANANTNAG, SEPT 23: A 20-year-old youth from Doda district succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident in Daksum area of Larnoo tehsil in Anantnag district.
Officials said the accident took place in the Daksum area, following which the injured youth was rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Larnoo.
Considering the severity of his condition, doctors referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, where he later died while undergoing treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Danish Ahmad, son of Mohd Rafiq, a resident of Batogra Gugara, Doda, officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.
