SHOPIAN, SEPT 19: The SDRF Component Shopian conducted a one-day disaster awareness programme at Knowledge Quaff Educational Institute, Matribugh, Shopian, to equip students and staff with basic emergency response skills.

Around 200 students and staff members participated in the programme, which focused on practical training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), CSSR and Medical First Response (MFR).

The SDRF team conducted practical demonstrations and provided guidance on handling medical emergencies and responding effectively during disasters.

The programme aimed to enhance awareness among students and staff about timely intervention, emergency preparedness and basic lifesaving techniques, enabling them to respond more effectively during critical situations.
