MATTAN, SEPT 20: Deputy Commissioner Shopian, J&K UT, Shishir Gupta, visited the historic and spiritually revered Shri Martand Tirath at Mattan along with his family and offered prayers at the sacred shrine.
During the visit, Gupta paid his respects at the shrine and participated in the religious rituals, praying for the welfare, peace and prosperity of the people.
His visit highlighted the enduring spiritual and cultural importance of Shri Martand Tirath as a prominent centre of faith and devotion.
The office-bearers of Shri Martand Tirath Trust warmly welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and his family. General Secretary T.K. Tickoo, along with other Trust members, devotees and PM Package employees, was present on the occasion.
The visiting officer also interacted with members of the local community and PM Package employees present at the shrine. The interaction was held in a cordial and spiritually charged atmosphere.
