Srinagar, Oct 3: Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V Somanna, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Javid Ahmed Tenga, Rotary Club of Kashmir President Dr Touseef Bhatt and BJP youth leader Sehar Khan called on Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here on Saturday and discussed issues related to trade, youth empowerment, community service and other matters concerning the Union Territory.
As per an official statement, Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, V. Somanna, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan.
Dr Touseef Bhatt, President, Rotary Club of Kashmir, as per a separate statement, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and apprised him of important matters related to youth empowerment, environmental conservation and community service, along with ongoing and proposed Rotary International projects in the region.
He was accompanied by Rotarians Irfan Gujju and Sajad Shah.
Meanwhile, Javid Ahmed Tenga, President, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and discussed the promotion of Trade and Export sectors in the UT. He was accompanied by Zubair Mahajan, Executive Member, KCCI.
In another official statement, Sehar Khan, Youth BJP leader and International Affairs & United Nations Delegate from J&K, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
