UDHAMPUR, SEPT 24: The 24 JKAP IR Battalion organised a Health Awareness Programme-cum-Medical Camp for its officers and officials at Battalion Headquarters, Sui, Udhampur, under the aegis of Commandant Sandeep Mehta.
The programme aimed to impart basic life-saving knowledge and practical skills to personnel for handling medical emergencies during official duties as well as in day-to-day life.
The session was conducted by Dr Tahir Mohi-Ud-Din of GMC Udhampur, who delivered an informative and practical session covering key aspects of emergency response and health management.
Detailed awareness was provided on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), stress management, seizure management, hypertension, stroke management and accident management.
Participants were sensitised about the importance of timely intervention, appropriate first response and prompt medical assistance during emergencies.
The programme equipped the personnel with valuable knowledge to maintain better health and respond effectively to critical situations.
The initiative reflects the Battalion’s continued commitment towards the health, welfare and overall well-being of its personnel.
