LEH, SEPT 21: The second week of the CBSE Academic Support Programme commenced at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, with focused sessions for Class 12 students and teachers in Chemistry, Physics, Economics and Mathematics ahead of the CBSE Examinations 2027.
The initiative is being conducted under the guidance of Bhanu Prabha, Secretary, School Education Department, and Tsering Paldan, Director, School Education Department, with the objective of strengthening academic preparedness and providing targeted support to students and teachers.
The opening session was led by S. D. Namgail, Principal, DIET Leh, who welcomed the CBSE experts and emphasised the importance of focused academic discussions on competency-based education, examination preparedness, effective teaching-learning practices and sharing of best practices to improve learning outcomes.
Students and teachers from HSS Sakti, HSS Chushot, HSS Boys Leh and HSS Girls Leh are participating in the programme.
The sessions are providing expert guidance on competency-based learning strategies, examination-oriented preparation and effective classroom practices, enabling both teachers and students to better align their academic preparation with the requirements of the upcoming CBSE examinations.
The programme is aimed at creating a stronger academic support mechanism across participating schools, with emphasis on improving conceptual understanding, teaching effectiveness and students’ overall examination readiness.
