UDHAMPUR, OCT 3: Continuing his tour of Jammu and Kashmir, CRPF Director General G.P. Singh, visited the 187 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Udhampur and reviewed the unit’s operational preparedness and functioning.
The CRPF DG was accorded a guard of honour at the Quarter Guard on his arrival. During the visit, he inspected key unit facilities and took stock of arrangements supporting the operational and administrative requirements of the battalion.
G.P. Singh also interacted with CRPF personnel and key stakeholders, receiving inputs on the prevailing operational environment, field requirements and preparedness of the unit to respond effectively to emerging security challenges.
The visit provided an opportunity to assess the battalion’s readiness and reinforce the importance of professionalism, discipline, coordination and operational alertness among the force personnel.
The DG’s visit forms part of his ongoing tour of J&K, with the CRPF continuing to maintain its operational focus in support of national security and the Nation First commitment.
