KUPWARA, SEPT 18: DIG North Kashmir Range Dr. Vinod Kumar, accompanied by SSP Kupwara, on Friday visited the SOG Camp Kralpora and reviewed the security arrangements, operational preparedness and functioning of the camp.

During the visit, the DIG interacted with officers and personnel deployed at the camp and took detailed stock of their operational readiness, alertness and preparedness to respond to emerging security challenges.

Dr. Vinod Kumar directed the personnel to maintain round-the-clock vigilance, high professional standards and strict discipline while performing their operational duties. He stressed the need for personnel to remain prepared for swift and coordinated response to any security situation.

The DIG also called for close coordination among all security agencies operating in the area and directed timely sharing of operational inputs and intelligence to strengthen the overall security grid.

He emphasised that effective coordination, constant alertness and prompt response are essential for maintaining a robust security mechanism in North Kashmir.

The visit was aimed at reviewing ground-level preparedness and ensuring that the force remains operationally equipped and ready to meet emerging security requirements.
