KISHTWAR, SEPT 17: Kishtwar Police intensified night security measures across the district, with SSP Kishtwar, accompanied by DySP Headquarters Kishtwar, conducting foot patrolling and naka checking at various locations as part of an enhanced night domination exercise.
The security operation was aimed at strengthening the existing security grid, enhancing surveillance and vigilance, checking suspicious movement and ensuring effective area domination during night hours.
Police personnel maintained a strong and visible presence at key and vulnerable locations to deter any potential threat and reinforce the sense of security among the public.
During the exercise, naka checking was carried out at strategic points, while foot patrols were conducted in areas requiring increased surveillance.
The deployment was aimed at maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and ensuring that any suspicious activity or movement is detected and addressed promptly.
The SSP also reviewed the security arrangements on the ground and interacted with personnel deployed for night duties.
The personnel were emphasised to remain alert, maintain close surveillance and ensure effective coordination while carrying out checking and patrolling duties.
Police said the intensified night domination measures are part of continued efforts to strengthen the security apparatus, improve preparedness and safeguard the public, particularly in vulnerable and sensitive locations across the district.
