JAMMU, SEPT 21: Taking healthcare services closer to the people, SSP Traffic City Jammu has launched a “Medical Camp on Wheels” initiative to provide regular health check-ups and medical consultation to Traffic Police personnel as well as the general public.
The mobile medical camp began at Narwal Chowk at around 10:30 AM, drawing a large number of people seeking medical consultation.
The camp is currently being held at Bikram Chowk and will subsequently move to Satwari Chowk to extend the facility to other areas.
Specialist doctors are providing consultation and health check-ups in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Dental Care and General Medicine.
The medical team is also conducting health-awareness sessions on common ailments, preventive healthcare and healthy eating habits.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring timely access to basic and specialist healthcare while promoting preventive health practices among Traffic Police personnel and members of the public.
The programme reflects the Traffic Police’s focus on personnel welfare, public service and community-oriented initiatives.
